I am excited to be a licensed massage therapist located at Ovenell Chiropractic.
Many of you already know me, as this has been my work home for 6 joyful years,
working the Front desk, Billing and Hallway Hostess!
God blessed me with Ovenell Chiropractic and the huge family of patients. I'm sincerely honored to work with the people who come in to the office needing our care. I love being a part of this dedicated team. They are kindhearted , fun and loving. Always bringing out the Best in others! We are all such a perfect Healthy fit for working well together. Just like Massage and Chiropractic. They go hand in hand. Each modality is vital to Wellness at all levels of health and age. I believe Massage and Chiropractic are just two Key elements in obtaining great and true wellness.
My goal as a provider of massage is to offer a Positive and Healing experience. One that connects the mind, body and spirit for internal goodness. Creating openness and opportunity to organically work with what your body needs in the moment.
There are loads of benefits to having a massage. It's a great option for overall wellness, Stress management or injury recovery. Massage invites the body to relax and heal. Many people ask if massage is covered by insurance. The sticky part is that Massage must be medically necessary to be considered for insurance reimbursement. In my experience, proving medical necessity to your insurance starts with your MD/DC documenting a disease or dysfunction that requires medical massage. Your MD/DC will need to prescribe and refer massage for you. Other documentation may be required as well. Please check your policy for all rules. While I am not a provider contracted with insurance, It is likely you can use your FSA/HSA card to limit your cost. It's in your best interest to know your insurance rules and regulations as it relates to those funds.
Things I like to do personally when I am not working are, hiking with my husband, dogs and dear friends. The areas in and around the Wenatchee valley are pretty special to us. We’ve climbed, hiked, biked, camped and paddle boarded all over the Pacific North West. If we aren’t in the mountains on some forest trails, you can find us on the beach. Very different from the woods however just as fun to beach comb. Recharging a bit with a slower, more present pace.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about me.
I look forward to meeting you!
